Jean-fidèle Ebenezer Ananou is a photographer based in Lagos, Nigeria. He’s a passionate storyteller and his work encompasses daily life, profiles of people, environmental and social issues.
He has been commissioned by organizations such as NRC, The Republic Journal, AFD, Ink Global, Atlas Obscura, Sustyvibes among others. His work has been published in The Republic, Selamta Magazine (The onboard magazine for Ethiopian Airline), BusinessDay Weekender and more. His photographs have been exhibited at the Didi Museum and the Alliance Française in Lagos as well as in Paris at France Medias Monde.
He is a member of Diversify Photo and the Africa Photo-Journalism Database, a directory of 500 professionals started by the World Press Photo and Everyday Africa.
He holds a Microbiology degree from Crawford University, Igbesa, Ogun State, Nigeria.
